Thigh High

Reading Vogue's 'Runway round-up' and it is very clear fetish will be key this season. If like me, some of the fetish elements are a tad too much, leather trimmings, sheer shirts and bondage will add a fetish touch to any outfit. Also seems thigh boots are back (again). In love with the McQueen ones (below left). Also love the mix of lace detail on Tom Ford's thigh boots. (right)

Aldo and Christian Cota

Aldo have teamed up with Christian Cotam for those who don't know he is the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Fund's Finalist. (what a mouthful) Love these chunky boots, slight hiker feel to it but the leather and shearling and ponyskin trimmings make it more luxe. The gold buckle ones are my fav. Start at £150.

Stella V Debenhams

This Stella dress has got the celebs going crazy! The touch of flesh is just enough to keep it sophisticated and the structured fit gives such a nice silhouette. If like me this is way out of your price range, Julian Macdonald's Diamond collection has this which is incredibly similar and only £40!

Pucci v Zara

If you like the feather look as seen in Pucci's Autumn/Winter 11 collection then you will love this! Double up this Zara skirt by using one skirt as the top, other as the bottom and pull together with a thick belt! Luxe look for cheap.

Uni loan please come now.

I am dreaming about clothes at the moment. I know my student loan should be used for more constructive things like pencil sharpeners and notebooks, but clothes are a neccessity and so is looking good at uni. Hence why most of my loan will end up on clothing and shoes. (Don't tell my mum). Really like these lace pieces, easy to wear and they look so delicate and pretty. Can be worn casually or dressed up. A pair of biker boots is needed for uni, walking around with all those books needs a good comfortable pair of shoes, preferable waterproof so these biker ones are perfect, and not forgetting the satchel to carry the books in!

I love kandee...

I already have the peanut crunch Kandee shoes from last season which are amazing, but Kandee have done it again. This season we are talking killer heels mixed in with the notorious gold studs, glitter fever and fresh bursts of colour to VIP your feet. The ankle boots are to die for, they have really gone for the glam luxe look this season making sure you really dazzle. Just check these 'Limonade' glitter boots out. These boots will definitely do the talking for you so pair with minimalistic clothing. And it's not just boots, there are plenty of platforms to choose from. Check it out here...I insist.

- This week I have started to read my 38 books for my second year at uni. Need to read them by October 3rd so that literally means two books a day. Will it happen...I hope so!

-Finally got some work experience lined up. Really great opportunity so will defo be blogging about it in the next couple of days.

-After looking everywhere and I mean everywhere for this skirt from H&M, finally had to order it off the website as no where had it. Was quite annoyed as I have wanted it for ages and they must be low on stock as the delivery estimate was the beginning of October - then changed to mid October. Quite angry but I wait paitently until it comes.

What I bought.

- Payday came and so did my shopping! I really like the riding look, the high waisted jodphurs are so flattering and suck literally everything up and in. American Apparel do some great ones but on many of the reviews people mentioned after a couple of wears the material began to thin. After debating for a seriously long time I decided to actually buy proper riding pants from a riding store. The plus side was that I realised I fit in to kids therefore managed to get two pairs for the price of one adults. Also as they are actual riding pants I think they will be much more durable. Very happy chappy. Bought them in beige and black, will post a pic soon.

-Also bought a topshop faux leather jacket with detachable fur collar which means it is pretty versatile. It also looks leather and has a lovely feel to it and has fooled many of my friends. Zara had some jeggings which looked exactly like riding pants...very tight ones so also picked them up. Getting a little obsessed with the riding look perhaps. Tried the kids section in Zara also and found a gilet sized 11-12 yeats which fitted perfectly and was a bargain at £22.99!

- Been wanting these Mercury suede tassel loafers for ages and finally bought them from ASOS. Also picked up a turban which will be great in winter. For some reason the majority of things I bought were black. Clearly winter is coming!
