What i've been up to

Wow...I have not blogged in forever. Very ahsamed of this but I have been busy. Honest. Had a crazy list of reading and had to get everything organised to go back to uni but i'm back! This will probably be a lonngggg update. So I did some work experience at ITV studios back in September where I was behind the scenes watching the Rugby World Cup 2011 from the gallery and also the live studios. Was such an amazing experience to see how everything works and believe me there is a lot of work that goes on in the background to produce these types of programmes. Very manic and a lot of pressure but I quite liked it so have applied for another few weeks later on in the year so hopefully I can go back!

Also visited Westfield Stratford which is amazing! It is huge with pretty much everything you could ask for. You have your Primark, Topshop, Zara etc and also the must haves like Boots, Superdrug and of course Forever 21. As my student loan did come, (12 days late) I did a bit of shopping.

Wanted some 'extravagant' looking earrings and found these on ASOS for £8..bargain. They are quite a bold statement so definitely think hair up and no other jewellery! The little hoops are from Gogo Phillip.

ASOS Laptop case which I will use as a clutch. Big is in and if it can fit all my essentials in..why not!

I think everyone has these now, the Vectra pumps by Topshop but I love them. Great addition to any outfit and super comfy. Debating whether to buy another pair...!

Saw this Zara jumper and had to have it. It is so warm and I love the texture of this jumper. Also bang on trend with the gold and metallic fabric effortlessly woven in.

Also been watching tonnes of youtube make up tutorials and would definitely recommend anyone that is interested in learning more to subscribe to pixiewoo's channel. I have learnt so much from them and although they have made me spend a fortune on brushes, make up etc, it has been worth it. Due to Sam and Nic's tutorials I purchased a make up remover which is amazing. It's by a French brand called Bioderma and it's supposed to be for sensitive skin but I think this would be good for all skin types! Takes my make up off so quickly and my mascara just melts off. I'm in love with it. There is not many places you can purchase this just beause it's based in France but I got mine off Ebay for £13.

Vita Liberata. Haven't heard of it? You have now. The 'official X-Factor tan' and one of the celebs favourite, this tan is one of the best I have used. No streaks and has a lovely even colour to it making you look sun-kissed rather than orange. You can also build it up allowing for a darker colour. It does say that it doesn't smell but I would have to disagree. It does not smell as bad as other fake tans, but there is definitely a smell to it. One thing I would say is it's quite pricey, (£20) and it does not last very long but it does work. Decisions decisions.

Okay this is something that definitely works. On the rare occasions I get a spot, I get a very big one and I have probably tried every spot cream you can think of. Browsing through a mag, I saw this spot gel and decided to give it a go. All the reviews about it have been really good and at £12 it's quite literally a bargain. It's by Origins and is called Super Spot Remover and it literally is. I put it on a spot overnight and the next day it was much smaller and the redness has really subsided. Luckily for me I had another spot...(any one sense the sarcasm there?) so I was able to see if this product was a one trick pony! And I'm glad to say it is not, my other spot hardly even came out and disappeared before I had even noticed! I wouldn't use it as a product to prevent spots but for when you actually get a spot. Defo recommend.

Will definitely add a post showing a few outfits hopefully in the next couple of days. I have also ordered some urban decay and mac make up so will be reviewing them when they arrive!
