Lust
Loveee the colour of these. My absolute favourite colour. I have these shoes in black and haven't worn them yet (tut tut) but now I really want them in this colour. Chloe Green wears them well with rolled up jeans, a white tee and embellished cardigan. Casual and chic.
Seen on..
Millie wears an ASOS midi dress to launch Nails Inc Vodafone red nail polish - and it is cheap!
ASOS £28 here
Love the colour and embellishment on this dress and it is now £45. Bargain.

Love love love this Topshop dress. The colours really compliment one another and the dipped hem is very Alexander Wang. Shame it is sold out in my size.

Valentines - Just another day
Valentines is an over -rated, commercially inept day if you ask me - and before you say it's because I am 'single', I'm not. I just find the whole hype pointless. You make reservations for dinner, you go to the theatre or cinema-what else can you do? I'm not sure about you, but I do most of this every week - bar the theatre so it is not one of those days I circle in the calender.
However I did go out, obviously, just to a local restaurant in Dulwich which was nice so thought I would share with you what I wore. I had one of those moments where I looked in my wardrobe and saw absolutely nothing I could wear so decided on my trust-worthy leathers and playing on the monochrome theme that is so evident this season, I wore my black and white H&M jumper. Heels are from Zara.
The big healthy burger I ate. Couldn't manage the chips.

Victorious Victoria
I couldn't not do a post on Victoria Beckham's A/W13 collection. Her S/S13 collection was crazy good, with Anna Wintour being one of the first to show her praise for VB's minimalist designs but what would she think of VB's A/W13 collection? Well apparently the same.Victoria Beckham once again did what she knows best...but better.
Victoria Beckham's A/W 13 collection made a sharp shift from her previous feminine collection to an overt masculine and edgy androgynous look particularly in her first show. Still simple in its construction VB continues the strict contours of her usual designs with the pencil skirt heavily featured, however unlike previous seasons, there is a more relaxed look with the rounded shoulders and bomber-style jackets. The body is still perfectly sculpted but Victoria plays around with fabric using bonding to create luxe high gloss colours. The palette is a lot more neutral, ideal for a capsule wardrobe as VB says - they are ready to wear. The deep electric blue, the bright almost neon yellow carefully complimented with the blacks and browns show a more mature VB. The dark browns pay tribute to the sharp blues and the use of black outlines make the yellows pop - clearly VB has her colour palette down to a tee. In her first show, VB uses laser cuts with sequins adding a playful yet sophisticated touch. What VB is so good at doing, is presenting the body as it is, with no hidden extras. Her skirts are perfectly fitted with the front split showing just enough skin to remain elegant. Her peep hole tops are matched with longer skirts- VB knows the rules. The androgynous look is mastered through the use of structured arms and shoulders on tops and coats with the notorious blazer being reformed in to a cape-like suit allowing a playful glimpse of skin. It is still very clear that VB wants the silhouette to be emphasised regardless of her designs taking on a more masculine look.
VB's second show showed much of the same but presented a slightly softer look with monochrome and grey being at the forefront of her designs. Victoria played around with more colours, such as orange, berry, khaki to lift the palette. Silky shirts with prints, mini-dresses with knee high boots, very much a modern school girl look was featured on the runway. Hair was simple and make-up was neutral allowing concentration on the clothes only. Different textures were used for jackets with Victoria giving a bow to her home country with quintessentially British materials such as herringbone and wool. It seemed her second show was a lot more casual compared to her first, models were featured with over-sized wool hats, jumpers and surprisingly jeans were even spotted.

Klear Klutch obsession
So when looking at Rosie Fortescue's blog I came across her 'Klear Klutch' which I immediately loved. It follows on from my love of the clear perspex Charlotte Olympia clutch with interchangeable linings (which I previously blogged about) I really wanted to do a diy myself of this but never came across the time to do it. However, the Klear Klutch design looks a lot simpler to diy. I would buy one myself but I can't justify £52.99 on a piece of pvc, albeit lovely.
The Klear Klutch is simply a transparent clutch and gives a big nod to the minimalist and perspex trends this season. Personally it is too expensive for me which is why I am definitely going to attempt my own diy (once I have found the materials as it is proving extremely difficult) and can be worn with literally every outfit possible. I love its simplicity and think it is very cool. Here are some outfits I have paired with it, but like I said it can be worn with anything.

Must haves
You will probably notice from many of my posts that I pretty much buy all my clothes and shoes in Zara these days and it is really no surprise when they have such great fashion lines with reasonable prices. I have many Zara shoes and the quality is also second to none. I am really in to simple heels these days to create a minimal structured look. I used to be more of a 'platform' girl but have slowly come down from that height on to a more manageable and if I say so myself, more classy height. Zara have come a long way in the last few years, in particular their shoe section which oozes elegance. The black and white minimal sandals are so in right now and the silver points are very Jimmy Choo-esque. I want all of these.

Happy Feet
Again I have new shoes.
I have tried to stop buying shoes but have come to the realisation I won't ever stop. Kudos to me.
I saw these and literally fell in shoe love. The colour is so perfect. Love the laser-type cut to the shoes and the heel height means I should be able to wear them all night with no pain. Paired with a pair of leather trousers, or a summer dress these shoes will brighten up any outfit. As I am going to Mexico in July, I thought these would be perfect. These will look great with a tan and a red toe.

As you can see I am liking colour at the moment and these strappy sandals caught my eye immediately. The contrasting colours really make these shoes 'pop'. Pretty sure these are a take on Giuseppe Zanottis' sandals from last season but who is moaning? Only problem is these shoes are rather high. Maybe dinner shoes?

No. 55
Hello Grammys no 55.
I would probably go as far as saying last night's Grammy's was the best dressed Grammy's ever.
One of the best dressed last night would be Rihanna. I have to say I am not Rihanna's greatest fan. I like some of her music but I dont't know why but I feel she is quite arrogant. This is probably just me...but I am batting for Team Beyonce. Also do not like the fact she wears timberlands. I think this is reason enough. However, last night at the Grammy's she looked absolutely gorgeous. Her face was flawless, her dresses were beautiful. She looked happy (unfortunately on the arm of Chris Brown - don't get me started) but I don't think I have ever seen her look this lovely.
Black and white was also a popular choice. Bey, Kelly and Taylor all look stunning. Love Kelly Rowland's dress and the mermaid tail. Shapes her body beautifully and although risky she pulls it off with a lovely updo.
Chrissy's dress is gorgeous. The detailing throughout the dress is so intricate and although she is revealing her midriff she still looks classy. Her hair curly matches her nod to the romantic trend and the light mint clutch adds a touch of colour so we are not overwhelmed by the amount of skin on show. One of my favourites.

Green with envy L-R - Solange Knowles, Katy Perry and Florence Welch
Not so sure about Solange and Florence's dresses however I am loving their side split revealing a touch of skin. Also like how Solange has used a hot pink louboutin to contrast against the green.
I would have preferred less detail on Florence's dress as it slightly reminds me of a dinosaur. (probably not a good sign) Katy Perry wins this one for me. The dress is fitted perfectly and the light mint colour contrasted with her dark black hair looks stunning. Love the delicate jewels around the neck and her natural lips really compliment the dress.

I love the colour. It brightens up any outfit and is great for all seasons. I love how big it is as well, I can fit everything and anything in it. In love.
Spain
I also visited Spain over summer...lucky me! I stayed with my cousin in a family friend's villa in Moraira which is a 2nd home to me. I have been going to Moraira since I was a baby and my nan also had a villa out there until very recently so I know my way around extremely well. The villa we stayed in was lovely. We had a view of the sea and also had our own private pool. It was also ten minutes walk from all the night life which meant we could walk everywhere.
We stayed for a week in September and had lovely weather so were very fortunate. Here are some snaps, mainly of what I wore..

Paris
I am going a little back now to show you what I have been up to. (really not a lot) Over summer I visited Paris - which was as gorgeous as ever. It was a 3 day trip consisting of mostly shopping and eating and of course sight seeing. We stayed at Hotel Joyce which was a lovely little hotel with amazing service. The hotel was less than 5 minutes walk to Saint-Georges metro station which was really convenient.
Unfortunately we didn't manage to get on to the Eiffel Tower as the queue was five hours and as we had already seen it when we were younger, we decided to give it a miss. We did go on a lovely sight seeing bike ride thorugh Paris to make up for it which is definitely a must if you go to Paris.
Here are some of my pics, I won't bore you with the details except Paris is one of my favourite cities, mainly due to the food and the amazing Pharmaceuticals! We travelled around 45 minutes to visit a pharmacy and it was sooo worth it. If you love skin care then you may as well go to Paris just for the Pharmacies (I actually know a few people who do this and stock up whilst they are there!) but brands such as Bioderma, Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Avibon, Embryolisse (you name it, they have it) are much cheaper. I stocked up on a few of my fave things such as Bioderma cleanser which I have previously blogged about and La Roche-Posay who have great skin-saving masks. Ruth from A Model Reccommends blog has a great review on Embryolisse as well here . Also some of these amazing French products are now stocked at escentual.com so get buying!
