Oh Stuart

A little while ago I purchased a pair of Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots. I had been debating buying a pair for ages as they are quite pricey but after a year I decided to take the plunge. Oh how I wish I had purchased them a year ago as they have now sky-rocketed in price. I remember them being priced at £295 however when I went to buy them it turned out Stuart must have had quite a dramatic change of heart as they had gone up to £395. This made the decision even harder!

After speaking to a few people who already owned a pair and said how amazing and comfortable they were I decided to go for it. I have to say I have absolutely no regrets as I have lived in them the last couple of months.

I purchased the leather ones, but they come in suede also. I personally thought leather would last longer and also be easier to clean. They are SO comfortable and warm. They are okay in the rain. I personally wouldn't wear them all day knowing it will be pouring as the leather gets quite damp and slightly changes its appearance.

With over the knee boots they often tend to sag and fall down my leg. However due to the elasticated fabric at the back they fit my leg perfectly and never ever fall down. I can also get away with wearing them with skirts and dresses as they are so slimming on the leg. I am in love and it was only right I informed you!
Before you buy I would definitely recommend trying a pair on. I am usually a UK 4 yet the 4 was way too big so I purchased a UK 3 which is really unusual for me but I have been told they do run very big.

You can purchase the 50/50 over the knee boots from Russell and Bromley or any Stuart Weitzman concessions.

VB FALL 2014 Ready to Wear

Off the cusp

Loving this seasons heavy winter coats. Featured in an array of bold colours and neutral palettes, these jackets really bring the outfits together. Only way to be wearing this trend is off the shoulder, credit to Mrs Beckham, accentuating the shoulders to create an empowered and tailored look.
