Yum yum. How gorgeous is this bag! Celine makes some beautiful bags and I feel that sometimes they get forgotten about. How you could forget about this bag I don't know but just incase you have, here it is. My fav is the top one, the perfect combination of colours for everyday wear.

These colours are sooo Christmasy I love them. Think I will be reaching for the red or gold, or maybe all of them!
Deena & Ozzy
Wow. Need these in my life. Asked for them for christmas so they had better be under the tree or there could be problems.

What i've been up to
Wow...I have not blogged in forever. Very ahsamed of this but I have been busy. Honest. Had a crazy list of reading and had to get everything organised to go back to uni but i'm back! This will probably be a lonngggg update. So I did some work experience at ITV studios back in September where I was behind the scenes watching the Rugby World Cup 2011 from the gallery and also the live studios. Was such an amazing experience to see how everything works and believe me there is a lot of work that goes on in the background to produce these types of programmes. Very manic and a lot of pressure but I quite liked it so have applied for another few weeks later on in the year so hopefully I can go back!
Also visited Westfield Stratford which is amazing! It is huge with pretty much everything you could ask for. You have your Primark, Topshop, Zara etc and also the must haves like Boots, Superdrug and of course Forever 21. As my student loan did come, (12 days late) I did a bit of shopping.
ASOS Laptop case which I will use as a clutch. Big is in and if it can fit all my essentials in..why not!
I think everyone has these now, the Vectra pumps by Topshop but I love them. Great addition to any outfit and super comfy. Debating whether to buy another pair...!
Saw this Zara jumper and had to have it. It is so warm and I love the texture of this jumper. Also bang on trend with the gold and metallic fabric effortlessly woven in.
Also been watching tonnes of youtube make up tutorials and would definitely recommend anyone that is interested in learning more to subscribe to pixiewoo's channel. I have learnt so much from them and although they have made me spend a fortune on brushes, make up etc, it has been worth it. Due to Sam and Nic's tutorials I purchased a make up remover which is amazing. It's by a French brand called Bioderma and it's supposed to be for sensitive skin but I think this would be good for all skin types! Takes my make up off so quickly and my mascara just melts off. I'm in love with it. There is not many places you can purchase this just beause it's based in France but I got mine off Ebay for £13.
Vita Liberata. Haven't heard of it? You have now. The 'official X-Factor tan' and one of the celebs favourite, this tan is one of the best I have used. No streaks and has a lovely even colour to it making you look sun-kissed rather than orange. You can also build it up allowing for a darker colour. It does say that it doesn't smell but I would have to disagree. It does not smell as bad as other fake tans, but there is definitely a smell to it. One thing I would say is it's quite pricey, (£20) and it does not last very long but it does work. Decisions decisions.
Okay this is something that definitely works. On the rare occasions I get a spot, I get a very big one and I have probably tried every spot cream you can think of. Browsing through a mag, I saw this spot gel and decided to give it a go. All the reviews about it have been really good and at £12 it's quite literally a bargain. It's by Origins and is called Super Spot Remover and it literally is. I put it on a spot overnight and the next day it was much smaller and the redness has really subsided. Luckily for me I had another spot...(any one sense the sarcasm there?) so I was able to see if this product was a one trick pony! And I'm glad to say it is not, my other spot hardly even came out and disappeared before I had even noticed! I wouldn't use it as a product to prevent spots but for when you actually get a spot. Defo recommend.
Will definitely add a post showing a few outfits hopefully in the next couple of days. I have also ordered some urban decay and mac make up so will be reviewing them when they arrive!

Thigh High
Reading Vogue's 'Runway round-up' and it is very clear fetish will be key this season. If like me, some of the fetish elements are a tad too much, leather trimmings, sheer shirts and bondage will add a fetish touch to any outfit. Also seems thigh boots are back (again). In love with the McQueen ones (below left). Also love the mix of lace detail on Tom Ford's thigh boots. (right)

Aldo and Christian Cota
Aldo have teamed up with Christian Cotam for those who don't know he is the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Fund's Finalist. (what a mouthful) Love these chunky boots, slight hiker feel to it but the leather and shearling and ponyskin trimmings make it more luxe. The gold buckle ones are my fav. Start at £150.
Stella V Debenhams
This Stella dress has got the celebs going crazy! The touch of flesh is just enough to keep it sophisticated and the structured fit gives such a nice silhouette. If like me this is way out of your price range, Julian Macdonald's Diamond collection has this which is incredibly similar and only £40!
Pucci v Zara
If you like the feather look as seen in Pucci's Autumn/Winter 11 collection then you will love this! Double up this Zara skirt by using one skirt as the top, other as the bottom and pull together with a thick belt! Luxe look for cheap.
Uni loan please come now.
I am dreaming about clothes at the moment. I know my student loan should be used for more constructive things like pencil sharpeners and notebooks, but clothes are a neccessity and so is looking good at uni. Hence why most of my loan will end up on clothing and shoes. (Don't tell my mum). Really like these lace pieces, easy to wear and they look so delicate and pretty. Can be worn casually or dressed up. A pair of biker boots is needed for uni, walking around with all those books needs a good comfortable pair of shoes, preferable waterproof so these biker ones are perfect, and not forgetting the satchel to carry the books in!
I love kandee...
I already have the peanut crunch Kandee shoes from last season which are amazing, but Kandee have done it again. This season we are talking killer heels mixed in with the notorious gold studs, glitter fever and fresh bursts of colour to VIP your feet. The ankle boots are to die for, they have really gone for the glam luxe look this season making sure you really dazzle. Just check these 'Limonade' glitter boots out. These boots will definitely do the talking for you so pair with minimalistic
clothing. And it's not just boots, there are plenty of platforms to choose from. Check it out here...I insist.

- This week I have started to read my 38 books for my second year at uni. Need to read them by October 3rd so that literally means two books a day. Will it happen...I hope so!
-Finally got some work experience lined up. Really great opportunity so will defo be blogging about it in the next couple of days.
-After looking everywhere and I mean everywhere for this skirt from H&M, finally had to order it off the website as no where had it. Was quite annoyed as I have wanted it for ages and they must be low on stock as the delivery estimate was the beginning of October - then changed to mid October. Quite angry but I wait paitently until it comes.

What I bought.
- Payday came and so did my shopping! I really like the riding look, the high waisted jodphurs are so flattering and suck literally everything up and in. American Apparel do some great ones but on many of the reviews people mentioned after a couple of wears the material began to thin. After debating for a seriously long time I decided to actually buy proper riding pants from a riding store. The plus side was that I realised I fit in to kids therefore managed to get two pairs for the price of one adults. Also as they are actual riding pants I think they will be much more durable. Very happy chappy. Bought them in beige and black, will post a pic soon.
-Also bought a topshop faux leather jacket with detachable fur collar which means it is pretty versatile. It also looks leather and has a lovely feel to it and has fooled many of my friends. Zara had some jeggings which looked exactly like riding pants...very tight ones so also picked them up. Getting a little obsessed with the riding look perhaps. Tried the kids section in Zara also and found a gilet sized 11-12 yeats which fitted perfectly and was a bargain at £22.99!
- Been wanting these Mercury suede tassel loafers for ages and finally bought them from ASOS. Also picked up a turban which will be great in winter. For some reason the majority of things I bought were black. Clearly winter is coming!

Wishlist
In love with Zara at the moment. Some of the things I want for autumn/winter. Gold luxe at it's best. Simple tunics and very happy to see the transition of the maxi from summer in to autumn.
Why didn't I think of this?
This perspex clutch from Charlotte Olympia is genious! Comes with three different zip pouches to pop inside allowing a 3-in-1 clutch! Amazing.

Boohoo...tears of joy
Never really shop on Boohoo but I think I will definitely be doing so now. Had a quick browse and found some really good stuff for ridiculous prices! The slit jersey maxi is effortlessly chic and with some heels and a leather jacket you have rock chick down to a tee. Still love maxi skirts and I will be recycling mine well in to winter just layering with a chunky knit and belt. Love the deep purple colour. Finally found some faux-leather high waisted shorts! My search is over and at £20 how can you afford not to get them?!
My pick of the knit
Am looking forward to Autumn/Winter just so I can wear some of these beauties. Topshop have a great selection of knitted jumpers which I love. Knitted wear is often deemed as dull and something your granny would wear but knits are big this winter. I'm in love with the electric blue and the mustard coloured knit which will look great teamed with my leather skinnies. Want to save money...charity shops usually have a good selection for a couple of pounds or failing that ask your gran!
All jumpers from Topshop
Fellow blogger...
Looking through ASOS' 'Looks' came across this girl called Charlotte Martin and thought her style really stood out. Found out she has a blog and it's amazing so take a look here.

Over to the dark side
- I am now officially a brunette. Well apparently it's 'dark blonde' but to me it looks brown. Was very anxious about the colour at first, even booked my hair to get redone the next day but after people commenting on how natural and healthy it now looks, have decided to keep it for a little while! It's a massive shock as for the past 4 years I have been bright blonde so will take a couple of weeks to get used to I think. -Did a bit of shopping yesterday. I have been wanting some flat boots for ages and found this lovely pair in Topshop. Wasn't going to buy but when I enquired about sizes they only had my size left. It was like it was meant to be! I love the gold buckle detail on them, makes them a bit more interesting! Also purchased these leather skinnies from Topshop too. I really struggle to find skinnies that are a good length for me as I am quite short so actually tried these on (which I never do) and they were quite a good fit. Quite tight but that was the look I wanted.

Still a bad hair day...
I took the day off work so I could have my hair done and unfortunately my hairdresser had a nightmare of a day and couldn't make my appointment. Quite upset I sat in my house waiting for her, could have done something a little more constructive! And the fact my hair is dire right now is not helping!
American Apparel Saved?
American Apparel are possibly on the verge of going bust but (and here's hoping) founder Dov Charney has been thinking of ways to keep his flagging empire riding high. One of his ideas is to increase the accessories department which does excite me. I already love the old school gym bags, the vintage sunnies and chunky jewellery but it would be a welcomed addition if there were more to choose from! Also on Friday they launched American Apparel on online giant ASOS therefore allowing everyone who has an NUS card to get 10% off! Win for me definitely although I'm still waiting for the infamous 'disco pants' to come in. Hopefully by allowing ASOS to sell their products it may help bring Charney out of the deep.
Barbour meets Temperly
The new barbour collaboration with Temperly has just arrived at work and I am in two minds. Being fully aware of what Temperly has the ability to do, I find the Gold Label for Barbour very disappointing. There is a combination of long and cropped leather jackets mixed in with the usual quilted jacket Barbour is renowned for. There does seem to be an emphasis on black and the jackets have a much more raw and edgy feel than we are used to. However I just expected more. Perhaps my expectations are too high, sometimes when you get a designer collaboration with more of a highstreet brand, it just doesn't work. The quilted jacket is cheapened by a huge faux-fur collar/hood and also is quite restricted in its shape. The long leather is okay, more goth-esque in my opinion but teamed with skinnies and high ankle boots I think this could look good. It's disappointing as Temperly and Barbour could be the perfect fit. Temperly's timeless glamour merged with Barbour's classic styles could and should have produced something better. Barbour's managing director Steve Buck said. "Gold Label is new, directional and fresh and we wanted to work with a British designer who could capture this feeling yet still remain true to Barbour's heritage." I do like the Somerset jacket ( 1st pic below), it looks lovely on although would prefer if it wasn't cropped but the mix of leather and wax defines Barbour perfectly.

Surprise!
It was my best friend's 21st the other week and we had a surprise birthday party for her! Was an absolute blast and she had no idea. Was extremely hard keeping it a secret however and I was pretty much relieved when it was all over! I wore this white dress (as I had a tan) and so many people have asked where it's from. It's from ASOS and the link is here
